A Call to Action

I have had this calling, this deep yearning to inspire, teach, coach, mentor and share what I have learned with others. This is the inspiration behind Love, Kristina Marie. It is my dream to have a positive impact on people's lives, to help people find their truth and purpose. This calling continues to get louder and louder and I have come to a place within myself that it is time to answer this calling.

I have struggled with the part of me who strives for perfection and 'getting things right' before I put myself out there. I took my struggle to my meditation practice to better understand where my blocks are, to figure out what I am putting up in my own way that keeps me from following this calling.

I began with an active imagination technique that I use often to dialogue with my inner self. I asked the question "what makes me so different, out of the hundreds of thousands of people who are coaches, teacher, spiritual guides, mentors, etc, what makes me stand out so that I can do this type of work, how would I differentiate myself from all of the others... And the answer was not at all what I was expecting and it was exactly what I needed to hear.

The message I got was "there is nothing that makes you stand out, nothing that makes you better than anyone else that is doing this type of work." I allowed myself to sit in this truth for awhile, it stung (my ego who desperately wants to know that it is special and unique and better than others) and I was able to truly understand this answer and what it means to me... No one is better or worse than another...There is no need for competition... We all are unique and special gifts to this world and those who are called to the healing/helping profession are creating more and more channels for the universal life force of unconditional love to enter into and shine in this world!

I also had the thought of 'well how can I differentiate myself from others in order to be seen, in order to attract those in need to me'. And the answer I got was... It's not about trying to differentiate or 'one up' another, or to figure out how to 'sell yourself', its about bringing yourself, as best as you can, in your most authentic way and that is the most important thing to remember. It is about accepting who you are and where you are in this moment and shining your light and love into the world, having faith that those who you are meant to share with and impact will show up! Ahh yes!
